THE DOORS: NOVO ÁLBUM AO VIVO

Entre as faixas escolhidas estão clássicos como Break On Through (To the Other Side), Roadhouse Blues, When the Music’s Over, Light My Fire e The End.

THE DOORS: NEW LIVE ALBUM
Arriving October 23, Unbound and Dangerous brings together 16 historic live tracks, capturing the intensity and unpredictability of Jim Morrison on stage.
There is something about a live Doors performance that no studio recording can fully reproduce: unpredictability. Between improvisation, poetry, blues and explosive rock ‘n’ roll, Jim Morrison could turn any concert into an experience that might take an unexpected direction.
That atmosphere lies at the heart of Unbound and Dangerous, a new live collection arriving October 23, 2026, via Rhino Records.
Featuring 16 tracks recorded primarily during the band’s 1970 Roadhouse Blues tour, the album was compiled and sequenced by original Doors members Robby Krieger and John Densmore, alongside longtime recording engineer Bruce Botnick.
The Doors Unleashed
The collection features performances recorded in New York City, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Hollywood.
Most recordings date from 1970, with one exception: Soul Kitchen, captured on July 21, 1969, during the band’s second performance at Hollywood’s Aquarius Theatre.
The tracklist includes classics such as Break On Through (To the Other Side), Roadhouse Blues, When the Music’s Over, Light My Fire and The End.
Rather than simply revisiting familiar songs, the collection captures different sides of Morrison’s commanding stage presence, from theatrical intensity to spontaneous improvisation.
Historic Performances, Newly Remixed
Unbound and Dangerous does not feature previously unreleased performances. Instead, it draws on historic concert recordings associated with the band’s 1970 album Absolutely Live, newly compiled and remixed.
Bruce Botnick’s new mixes include Dolby Atmos and high-resolution stereo, bringing fresh sonic detail to these performances.
The album will be released on CD, digital platforms, translucent red double vinyl and a special Blu-ray edition.
More than five decades after these concerts, the recordings remain a testament to a band that constantly explored the boundaries between music, theater and improvisation.
With Jim Morrison on vocals, Ray Manzarek on keyboards, Robby Krieger on guitar and John Densmore on drums, The Doors created a musical identity that continues to resonate across generations.
Unbound and Dangerous offers another opportunity to experience that legacy — not as a distant memory, but as a powerful reminder of four musicians who made unpredictability part of their unmistakable sound.
